“I’m a Local” – Keeping your money in town!
Posted on October 25th, 2011
Did you know that when you spend $100 at a chain grocery store, just $13 stays in the local economy? When you spend the same amount at a locally owned grocery store $45 stays here!
People “how can this be true?” From our perspective this is how it works. We can purchase from local producers that approach us without having to be restricted by a corporation. We purchase from over 60 local businesses alone. Another way is by using local professional services as an attorney, accountant, repair services, local contractors, architects. Sherri and I live and shop here too. It is important to be part of the community by helping with charitable organizations like our Food Bank, HRDC, Bozeman Library, MSU and The Cody Dieruf Foundation just to name a few.
There are many other local organizations that we contribute to as well. Shopping with Heeb’s Grocery is a simple, effective way to help our local community!
